Terms And Conditions of Sale

Because some of our furniture are a special order merchandise there are No Refunds & No Exchanges on Custom Furniture or Custom Carpet purchases, unless it meets the requirements detailed below. We apologize for this but there is no way around it because we have to pay to have it made for you and then once it is made for you, it belongs to you. However, on all other merchandise, credit is availble or refunds depending on the situation. See Below for details.

TERMS OF SALE: As a courtesy we give an estimated shipping date of 2 to 3 weeks for furniture and 5 to 7 days on Home Decor and Accessories. However, this is an estimate and cannot be guaranteed. Before a customer’s order can be processed payment in full must be made by customer to IMAGE DESIGN & FURNITURE CO. (AKA ID&F) Merchandise will not be shipped until after the final balance has been received.

DELAYS: Image Design & Furniture Co.(ID&F and DBA as ID&D) shall not be responsible for any shipping delays due to manufacturer circumstances. This is out of our control.

CANCELLATION: Because special order merchandise (Custom carpet and furniture) is specially customized for the individual customer, it is not feasible to cancel the order once in progress. All special order merchandise is NON CANCELABLE and customer will be held responsible for payment in full. For all other orders there is a 15% restocking fee.

DELIVERY/DAMAGE CLAIMS: It is the customer's responsibility to fully inspect all merchandise upon delivery. If damage or manufacture defects are found, customer is to notify ID&F immediately and must be noted on delivery receipt at the time of delivery. Otherwise purchaser agrees to waive all rights and claims pertaining to any such said damage or defect. In the event that we are properly notified of any damage due to delivery or a manufacturer defect customer is not responsible for repair cost’s or replacement parts. In the rare event that merchandise is beyond normal repair then ID&F. will replace the merchandise at no extra cost. In the case of measurement or specification of size to "fit" in a certain place becomes impossible ID&F is not responsible. It is the customers responsibility to make sure the furniture will fit in the designated area. Also, it is the customer’s responsibility to clear a pathway for the placement of furniture before time of delivery.

VARIATIONS OF WOODS & FINISHES: ID&F shall not be held responsible for variations of woods, finishes, natural stone and iron due to the natural process of nature or from the expansion and contraction process that takes place from different humidity conditions. Particularly in some woods there may a case of swelling or splitting as wood adjusts to the weather environment. This is just part of nature and is out of our control.

RETURNED CHECKS FEE: A $35.00 fee will apply for any returned checks.

STORAGE FEE: In the unfortunate event that the customers home is unavailable for delivery when merchandise arrives, ID&F is only capable of storing merchandise for 5 days. After a period of 5 days has passed and customer has not made a place available, then merchandise must be placed into public storage and customer is responsible for all costs incurred for storage and delivery.

WARRANTIES: It is the responsibility of ID&F to advise the customer of the manufacturer’s reputation, quality of furniture and warranties made applicable to the customer. However, the final decision is made by the customer according to his/her likes and dislikes. ID&F takes pride in providing quality furniture and service. However, there can be no guarantee that customer will find pleasure or satisfaction with his/her selection of merchandise. All warranties are the obligation of the manufacturer, not of ID&F. Most furniture manufacture warranties are one year and are specific to the terms and conditions of that manufacturer.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES OF CUSTOMER: Please check your order. Accuracy and details are important in special order merchandise. If you find an error on your invoice ID&F must be notified within 3 business days of invoice date. Otherwise your order will be delivered as specified.
