Common questions about store policies:

1) HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY MERCHANDISE AFTER I PURCHASE IT?

Answer: Depending on what you purchase and where you live, differs in time. For instance, if you order a custom made furniture item and you live on the east side of the Mississippi River, you might expect to see your purchase as soon as 2-3 weeks from purchase date. However, this is not always the case. We would like our customers to be patient enough to allow about 4-5 weeks. But also be prepared for it as early as 2 weeks. We will stay in contact with you to let you know when you can expect your delivery. Some smaller items we have in stock and ship out right away, you will usually receive things such as pillows and aprons, placemats, lamps and clocks, within 5 to 7 business days after purchase. If the item is a custom design purchase (such as a custom order rug or upholstery furniture) then please allow additional time for the product to be made. Any orders taking longer than 4 weeks requires a minimum of 50% down payment to confirm and hold the order. Payment in full must be paid before product ships. If the product has not been paid in full the item will not ship.

2) HOW MUCH ARE SHIPPING COSTS?

Answer: Shipping costs vary depending on the weight and the distance of the product that is to be shipped, usually it averages about $1.00 per pound, give or take a little depending on how far the item is to be shipped. In some cases (i.e. very heavy items) shipping may be as high as close to $1.00 per pound of the item, depending on the size of the product and location of delivery these numbers change slightly. Also, please note, multiple items ordered on one purchase at check out decreases your shipping costs, so ordering more than one thing can save money on shipping.

3) IS THE SHIPPING PRICE ESTIMATED AND CHARGED TO ME AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE?

Answer: yes. If there are shipping costs, you will have to pay for that on your final balance at the time of purchase and will receive a copy of the invoice. You only pay what is charged to us.

4) WHAT ARE TRUCK DELIVERY ITEMS?

Truck items are delivered by truck delivery service. You are responsible for removing the items off the back of the truck to your home.

Truck deliveries are made Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm. A delivery agent will call you to schedule your delivery. A responsible party, over 18 years of age, must be present to take delivery and sign for the shipment.

5) ONLINE REFUND POLICY

A 15% restocking fee will be charged on all canceled orders, if you the customer decide to cancel the order after the order has been processed (Usually 24 - 48 hours). This excludes fault on our behalf, such as shipping the wrong item or a defective product. You the customer are not responsible for these mistakes. Fees only apply when you the customer changes your mind and cancels.

**Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items If you return a damaged, defective or incorrect item you will receive a full credit or refund. You may then choose to purchase a replacement item if you wish.

6) APPLICABLE TAX

The only state that has tax applied to their order is in Arizona. All other states are tax free for general merchandise and most Home Decor products. However, there is one exception, and that is when purchasing Masland Area Rugs and/or wall to wall rugs. Masland Carpets are purchased in the states listed below. The reason being is because Masland Carpets maintains business entities in several states, and therefore when they ship direct from them to you the customer, taxes will apply. These states are AL, CA. FL, GA, MN, MI, NY, PA. and TX. You may or may not see the tax calculated on your invoice, but if not, you may receive a "use" tax form in the mail.
